Tyler Childers, a Grammy-nominated artist known for his singing, songwriting, and musical talents, has been chosen as the main act for the first-ever Howlin’ Country festival in Newcastle in the coming year.

As he starts his highly anticipated Mule Pull Tour in New Zealand, with additional performances scheduled in Australia, he will also make time to visit Foreshore Park on Saturday, February 15th between his shows.

He will be joining other performers such as Brad Cox, Sons Of The East, Taylor Moss, and the local talent of Austin Mackay on the lineup, as well as the Cheap Whiskey DJs.

Greg Mathew, the promoter, expressed great excitement about the Hunter location.

“I come from a farm in Wagga Wagga, which is why I developed a strong affection for Newcastle,” he said.

“It will consistently maintain a close relationship with the nation.”

I see it as a rural town with a beach.

“It’s high time that Newcastle had an event to celebrate their connection.”

We are looking forward to Howlin’ establishing its own identity and offering a special experience for country music fans of all ages in the local area, as well as introducing new fans to the genre that is gaining popularity worldwide.

According to the Associated Press, Childers is deemed as one of the most intriguing and unpredictable artists in country music.

Continuing his successful career, he recently dropped his latest album titled “Rustin’ In The Rain,” featuring the Grammy and ACM-nominated track “In Your Love.”

After Childers’ successful release of his album Purgatory in 2017, he has gone on to release three more albums and play numerous sold-out concerts globally.
